There have been email scams that are falsely claiming they are from revenue.

These emails advise people that either they owe tax to revenue or that they are owed a tax return. They usually requested personal details along with debit card or bank details.
The Revenue Commissioners never send emails requesting personal information.
Anyone who receives these emails do not provide any information and please delete them.
